Browsing data
During normal browsing, the systems that run this website collect some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the internet: IP address, date and time of the request, pages visited, browser type and operating system. This data is processed solely to ensure the operation and security of the website and to prevent abuse, on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest. It is kept in technical logs for a maximum of 30 days, unless needed to investigate unlawful activity.
Contact requests
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide — your contact details and the content of the communication — for the sole purpose of replying to you. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request. Correspondence is kept for a maximum of 24 months, unless a contractual relationship has arisen in the meantime.
Providing your data is optional: without contact details, we simply will not be able to reply to you.
The WhatsApp button on this website opens the WhatsApp app on your device: the website collects no data in this operation. The conversation takes place on the WhatsApp platform of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, which operates under its own privacy policy.
Data recipients
Data may be processed, on behalf of the controller and as data processors pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR, by the hosting provider (Aruba S.p.A., with servers in the European Union) and by the professional in charge of the technical maintenance of the website. It may also be disclosed to the controller's advisors and to the authorities, where required by law. Data is not sold, transferred to third parties for marketing purposes, or used for profiling.
Processing methods and security
Processing is carried out by electronic means, by authorised persons, with technical and organisational measures adequate to protect data from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure: encrypted connections, restricted access and backup copies.
Transfers outside the European Union
Data is processed on servers located in the European Union and no transfers to third countries are envisaged.
Your rights
You may at any time exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15-22 of the GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise them, write to contatti@ferramentagiordani.com: we will reply within 30 days. If you believe the processing infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
The contact details of the Italian Data Protection Authority are available at www.garanteprivacy.it.

Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device to make pages work or store preferences. They fall into technical cookies, which are necessary for operation and do not require consent, and profiling or third-party cookies, which require prior consent.
This website does not install any cookies during normal browsing: no session, analytics, profiling or third-party cookies. Even the language selection works through the page address, without storing anything on your device. For this reason, according to the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021, no consent banner is required.
The map on the Contact page is a static image: no external service is loaded while browsing. The link to Google Maps is activated only if you tap it, and from that moment the terms of the external service apply.
You can in any case block or delete cookies from your browser settings, in the privacy and cookies section.
If in the future we introduce tools that require consent, this page will be updated and a compliant prior-consent banner will be activated.
